Fine Art Prints

Our Fine Art Prints are absolutely stunning and are gallery quality. They meet the highest industry standards regarding density, colour gamut, colour graduation and image sharpness while preserving the special touch and feel of genuine art paper.

We use the giclée printing process with pigment-based archival inks to produce prints that can be lightfast for up to 100+ years, depending on factors such as paper type and storage conditions.

Your Fine Art Print will be printed on Ilford Textured Cotton Rag 310gsm, which is white, acid- and lignin-free, 100% cotton premium matte paper with a smooth surface texture that guarantees high colour consistency, crisp details with the longevity of archival standards.

 

Canvas Prints

Our Fine Art Cotton Canvas Prints are so real and life-like that they could grace the walls of any home or gallery. Our prints are stretched, so when it arrives in the mail, your canvas print is live and ready to hang. For this we use the finest kiln dried timber that won’t warp or buckle.

Your Canvas Print will be printed on 360 gsm natural white, 100% cotton canvas with a natural white finish, is OBA and 100% acid free, with a neutral pH coating. Your canvas print will be coated with Breathing Color Timeless varnish, a water-based liquid laminate to protect and enhance images, minimising or eliminating cracking when stretched and folded around the frame.

Please note: Outside New Zealand and Australia we can only ship canvas up to A3 size.

 

Certificate of Authenticity

A Certificate of Authenticity contains basic information about the image and print and is signed by the photographer, Jos Buurmans. Ideally, it should be kept with the print (i.e. attached to the back of the frame or canvas). It ensures that the print is authentic and created by the photographer, giving confidence that the investment meets high-quality standards.

 

Limited Edition Prints

Each edition is limited to a maximum of 25 prints per image. Once all 25 prints have been sold, no additional prints of that image will be produced. The Certificate of Authenticity that comes with the print specifies the edition number and the total edition size (e.g., 2/25).

Occasionally, a different version of an image may be created, such as a black-and-white variant. These are treated as separate editions with their own unique print limits.

Limited edition prints are intended for personal display, including use in homes or office spaces (e.g., boardrooms), and cannot be used for any other purpose.

 

Digital Downloads

Digital files are provided in high resolution without watermark or signature for one-time personal print use up to approximately A2 size. The original resolution (i.e. the number of pixels) and aspect ratio of the photo will be retained, so you may have to crop or re-size the image to fit your desired size.

A Certificate of Authenticity will not be provided for digital file purchases. Likewise, digital downloads do not count toward the limited edition print total, as the image may not be printed, and the quality of any prints made cannot be guaranteed or controlled.

The file will be emailed to you via a secure link where it can be downloaded.

 

Commercial Image Licences

Commercial licensing permits the use of a photograph for specific purposes, such as advertising, editorial content, merchandise, or digital applications, including the use on a business website. Some of the images on the store are available for commercial licensing, please inquire to discuss further.

Note that commercial licences do not compromise the exclusivity of limited-edition prints. Licensing typically involves digital usage or printed materials, such as magazines or calendars, but licensed images are not permitted to be used as 'wall art' or for decorative purposes and are not for resale. Additionally, licensed images do not come with Certificates of Authenticity and are not included in the limited edition print total.
